JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead enterprise financial and underwriting risk across life insurance and reinsurance
- Set risk appetite, governance, and capital strategy
- Oversee ALM, liquidity planning, stress testing, and stochastic modelling
- Drive reinsurance strategy, hedging, and product approval standards
- Office-based role in Philadelphia with occasional travel
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Leadership in life insurance or reinsurance risk management
- Enterprise risk frameworks, capital management, balance sheet oversight
- Deep knowledge of mortality, longevity, and morbidity risk
- Asset-liability management, stress testing, stochastic modelling
- Experience with Boards, regulators, and rating agencies
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 15+ years progressive leadership in life insurance or reinsurance risk
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA)
- Deep knowledge of mortality, longevity, and morbidity risk
- Expertise in ALM, stress testing, and stochastic modelling
- Experience with Boards, regulators, and rating agencies
