Senior Life/Annuities role leading pricing and product development for Individual Retirement annuities (fixed, index, RILA, variable). You will own pricing methodology, rate setting and product strategy while managing a multi-product team. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead pricing and product development for individual annuity products (fixed, index, RILA, variable)
  • Own pricing methodology, assumption setting, rate and crediting rate decisions
  • Manage and develop a multi-product pricing and product development team
  • Partner with Distribution, Finance, Actuarial, Product Management and ERM
  • Senior leadership role reporting to the President, Individual Retirement and Life Insurance

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • retail annuity product expertise (fixed, index, RILA, variable annuities)
  • annuity pricing and profitability reporting
  • new business and renewal rate/crediting rate setting
  • knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting for annuities

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 15+ years' relevant experience with at least 8 years in leadership
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Deep expertise in retail annuity products (fixed, index, RILA, variable)
  • Strong understanding of annuity pricing, profitability and financial reporting
  • Experience leading product strategy and large, cross-functional initiatives
