JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Support actuarial analyses for health and welfare insurance and benefit programs
  • Gather, validate, and analyze customer and vendor data for pricing and cost projections
  • Build and modify pricing models and reports using Excel; Python/R a plus
  • Prepare findings and recommend strategies for clients and internal teams
  • Onsite role based in San Diego, CA; requires 2+ actuarial exams passed

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Health and welfare insurance analysis
  • Health care cost projections and pricing

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Finance, Economics, or Statistics
  • At least two actuarial exams passed
  • Advanced Excel skills (PowerPoint; Access & VBA a plus)
  • Ability to compile, analyze, and interpret financial data for decision-making
