Requirements
Must have
- Minimum of 7+ years professional experience in a state insurance department, health insurance company, financial services or consulting firm
- Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and eagerness to learn
Strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or Statistics
- MBA and/or professional certification
- Prior consulting and/or regulatory experience
- ASA, FSA, or MAAA designation
- Experience with Affordable Care Act (ACA)
- ACA pricing experience
- Experience with Medicare Supplement products
- Knowledge of actuarial concepts including health rating, underwriting, financial modeling, risk management, pricing, and reinsurance
- PC skills in presentation, spreadsheet, and project planning software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

- Skills in Visual Basic, MS Excel, R, or Python
