Senior Manager-level Health actuarial consulting role in Columbus, Ohio, within Deloitte’s Insights, Innovation & Operate offering. You’ll advise payers, providers, health systems, and health plans on product and pricing, reimbursement, value-based care, predictive modeling, and financial performance while leading client engagements and teams.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of health actuarial experience
  • ASA with progression to FSA, FSA, or career ASA designation
  • Ability to travel 50% on average

Strongly preferred

  • 8+ years of consulting, health plan, or insurance company experience
  • 6+ years of experience leading teams
  • 6+ years of experience with product design or product strategy
  • 6+ years of experience with reimbursement models, including value-based care or ACO modeling
  • 6+ years of experience with risk adjustment mechanisms, group insurance products, mergers and acquisitions, or health care reform
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
  • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
  • Ability to lead projects or workstreams
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others
