Senior Health Actuary consulting role in Deloitte’s Insights, Innovation & Operate practice in Tampa, Florida. You’ll advise payers, providers, health systems, and insurance clients on value-based care, reimbursement, product design, pricing, predictive modelling, and financial performance while leading teams and presenting to senior stakeholders. The role requires 10+ years of health actuarial experience, ASA/FSA-level credentials, and approximately 50% travel.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of health actuarial experience
  • ASA with progression to FSA, FSA, or career ASA designation
  • Ability to travel 50%

Strongly preferred

  • 8+ years of consulting, health plan, or insurance company experience
  • 6+ years of experience leading teams
  • 6+ years of experience with product design or product strategy
  • 6+ years of experience with reimbursement models including value-based care or ACO modeling
  • 6+ years of experience with risk adjustment mechanisms, group insurance products, M&A, or health care reform in individual, small group, or Medicaid markets
