Senior Manager health actuarial consulting role in Deloitte’s Human Capital practice, based in Atlanta, Georgia. You’ll advise payers, providers, health systems, and insurers on pricing, product design, reimbursement, value-based care, forecasting, and financial performance while leading client teams. The role requires 10+ years of health actuarial experience, ASA progression to FSA or career ASA, and averages 50% travel.
Requirements
Strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of health actuarial experience
- ASA with progression to FSA, FSA, or career ASA designation
- Ability to travel 50%, on average
- 8+ years of consulting, health plan, or insurance company experience
- 6+ years of experience leading teams
- 6+ years of experience with product design or product strategy
- 6+ years with reimbursement models, including value-based care or ACO modeling
- 6+ years with risk adjustment, group insurance, M&A, or health care reform (individual, small group, Medicaid)
- Ability to lead projects or workstreams
- Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
