Senior Manager health actuarial consulting role in Morristown, New Jersey, within Deloitte’s Insights, Innovation & Operate practice. You’ll advise payers, providers, health systems, and insurers on product and pricing, value-based care, reimbursement, predictive modelling, and financial performance while leading client teams.
Requirements
Strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of health actuarial experience
- ASA with progression to FSA, FSA, or career ASA designation
- Ability to travel 50% on average
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available (work authorization)
- 8+ years of consulting, health plan, or insurance company experience
- 6+ years of experience leading teams
- 6+ years of experience with product design or product strategy
- 6+ years of experience with reimbursement models including value-based care or ACO modeling
- 6+ years of experience with risk adjustment mechanisms, group insurance products, M&A, or health care reform in individual, small group, or Medicaid markets
- Ability to work independently
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
- Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
- Ability to lead projects or workstreams
