You’ll advise payers, providers, health systems, and insurers on product design, pricing, reimbursement, value-based care, predictive modelling, and financial performance while leading consulting teams and presenting to senior stakeholders. The role requires 10+ years of health actuarial experience and ASA/FSA-level credentials, with average travel of 50%.
Requirements
Must have
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of health actuarial experience
- ASA with progression to FSA, FSA, or career ASA designation
- Ability to travel 50% on average
Strongly preferred
- 8+ years of consulting, health plan, or insurance company experience
- 6+ years of experience leading teams
- 6+ years of experience with product design or product strategy
- 6+ years of experience with reimbursement models, including value-based care or ACO modeling
- 6+ years of experience with risk adjustment mechanisms, group insurance products, M&A, or health care reform involving individual medical, small group, or state Medicaid markets
- Ability to lead projects or workstreams
- Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
