Senior Manager health actuarial consulting role in Deloitte’s San Francisco Human Capital practice. You’ll advise health plans, providers, and health systems on pricing, plan design, reimbursement, value-based care, predictive modelling, and financial performance while leading teams and presenting to senior stakeholders. The role requires 10+ years of health actuarial experience, ASA/FSA-level credentials, and average travel of 50%.
Requirements
Strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of health actuarial experience
- ASA with progression to FSA, FSA, or career ASA designation
- Ability to travel 50% on average
- 8+ years of consulting, health plan, or insurance company experience
- 6+ years of experience leading teams
- 6+ years of experience with product design or product strategy
- 6+ years of experience with reimbursement models, including value-based care or ACO modeling
- 6+ years of experience with risk adjustment mechanisms, group insurance products, M&A, or health care reform
- Ability to lead projects or workstreams
- Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
