JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Develop health & benefits actuarial solutions for plan design, pricing and budgeting
- Perform IBNR analyses, forecasting and actuarial valuations for self-insured plans
- Build predictive models and data visualizations using R and Power BI
- Consulting role with client presentations, bid/selection and benchmarking projects
- Remote (telecommuting available across the US); office location: Chicago, IL 60601

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field and 3+ years actuarial experience
- 3+ years providing health & benefits consulting: plan design, pricing, budgeting, bids
- 3+ years developing actuarial and financial models at scale, forecasting and valuations
- 3+ years projecting savings/costs from plan design and provider network changes
- Proficient in R and Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint); experience building Power BI dashboards
