[ Aon is looking for a Health Active Exchange Actuarial Analyst

Location: Virtual and or Hybrid Option

Aon is looking for an Actuarial Analyst to serve clients within our private healthcare exchange, the Aon Active Health Exchange (AAHE). The AAHE is growing and it is an exciting time to be part of the team dedicated to serving our clients and partners in this industry leading solution. We're looking for someone who is passionate about actuarial work. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Exchanges business group within Aon. Candidates can be based out of their home or any of Aon's US offices.

DESCRIPTION
  • Data collection and review: feasibility studies; annual RFP process
  • Checking and quality control
  • Data & presentation formatting
  • Risk Adjustment calculations and checking
  • Financial modeling (including quality review) of medical and dental quoted rates vs. self-insured projections
  • Initial bid analysis (including actuarial value modeling) to assist with the negotiation process
  • Data analytics support
  • Assistance with Defined Contribution modeling
  • Implementation support to benefits administration teams
  • Miscellaneous support
  • Participation in Health & Benefits practice sponsored and external training, to grow consulting acumen

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics & Business, or related fields
  • Progress towards FSA/ASA designation (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or Associate of the Society of Actuaries)
  • At least one year of health and welfare experience (carrier or employer consulting) preferred
  • General understanding of the health insurance field and the healthcare reform legislation

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $70,000-$102,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
