JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead financial actuarial engagements for employer health and group benefit clients
- Model plan design alternatives and calculate reserves for medical, dental, life, disability
- Present complex financial and analytic results to clients and partner teams
- Hybrid role based in Boston with a mix of remote and in-office work
- Requires 5+ years' professional services or insurer underwriting/actuarial experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Benefit consulting or health underwriting/actuarial experience
- Advanced knowledge of health and welfare products and services
- Underwriting and funding concepts experience
- Experience with big data analytic techniques (preferred)
- State Life and Health license (required within 90 days)
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years' experience in benefit consulting, brokerage, or insurer actuarial/underwriting
- State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining
- Advanced knowledge of health and welfare products and underwriting/funding concepts
- Proven ability to lead multiple projects and deliver client work on time
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
