- Develop pricing, reserves, forecasts and funding strategies for self-funded and fully insured plans
- Clean, transform, and analyze large integrated medical, pharmacy and enrollment datasets
- Advise on stop-loss, pooling/credibility and carrier/market competitiveness
- Provide team leadership and coach junior actuarial colleagues
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Self-insured and fully insured funding arrangements
- Modeling plan design and pricing strategies for employer health programs
- Analysis of medical, pharmacy and enrollment datasets
- Stop-loss solutions, pooling point analysis and credibility methods
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience leading financial and actuarial client engagements
- Experience with self-insured, fully insured, and alternative funding arrangements
- Ability to analyze and model large medical, pharmacy, and enrollment datasets
- Expertise in stop-loss solutions, pooling/credibility methods, and funding strategies
- Experience providing coaching and direction to junior staff
