JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead and enhance life and annuity index hedging programs, including variable annuities
  • Build economic models using stochastic (real-world and risk-neutral) processes
  • Deliver comprehensive ALM and hedging performance reporting to stakeholders
  • Hybrid role: partially in-office (Lincoln, NE or Cincinnati, OH) and partially remote
  • Director-level role requiring strong communication and cross-departmental influence

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • ALM and hedging experience with life or annuity products
  • Static and dynamic hedging for indexed and variable products
  • Building economic/stochastic models (real-world and risk-neutral)
  • Developing ALM and hedging performance reporting for stakeholders

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent
  • FSA (or equivalent) required; CFA or CQF also accepted
  • 7–10 years of ALM and/or hedging experience with life or annuity products
  • Proven ability to drive ALM/hedging decisions and influence stakeholders
  • Strong analytical problem-solving with implementation experience
