Senior P&C actuarial leadership role owning Lemonade's US home pricing. You will lead a home actuarial team, develop state rating plans and ML-based predictive models, support rate filings, and partner with underwriting, claims, data science and finance. Remote (US) role with responsibility for product expansion and pricing strategy.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead home pricing and own state rating plans for Lemonade Home
- Develop and integrate ML-driven predictive pricing models with Data Science
- Support rate filings and pricing strategy for expansion into new states
- Manage and develop a team of actuarial analysts (remote-first)
- Use R/Python and SQL for analytics and build internal pricing software
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C actuarial experience
- Personal lines/homeowners pricing
- Experience leading and managing teams
- Predictive modeling including GLMs and gradient boosting
- SQL and data querying experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of P&C actuarial experience
- 2+ years leading and managing an actuarial team
- B.S. in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Proficiency with SQL for data querying
- Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
