JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Review and approve P&C rate filings for reasonableness and compliance
- Analyze reserves and support financial examination activities
- Create and maintain compliance review tools and data analyses
- Provide direction, training, and peer review for junior analysts
- Position based in Columbus, Ohio with Ohio regulatory focus
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Property and Casualty actuarial experience
- Insurance rate filing analysis and compliance
- Reserving review and financial exam support
- Knowledge of Ohio and federal insurance laws
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years of actuarial experience in a Property & Casualty role
- Designation as ACAS and member of American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA)
- Undergraduate degree in mathematics required
- Experience analyzing insurance rate filings and regulatory compliance
- Minimum 24 months operating personal computer experience
