  • Perform moderately complex actuarial calculations and manual rate-determinations
  • Validate system alignment, create macros/tools, and provide technical signoff
  • Work with Access/SQL/VBA and advanced Excel for data extraction and reporting
  • Hybrid role based in Cedar Rapids, IA

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Modeling and business systems analysis
  • Product design and regulatory requirements
  • Policy administration systems and rate tables
  • Data extraction and reconciliation from databases
  • MS Excel formula and macro development

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in modeling, business systems analysis, or data analytics
  • Moderate understanding of actuarial concepts including interest rate models
  • Experience with policy administration systems, rate tables, and regulatory needs
  • Proficiency with Excel formulas/macros, Access, SQL, and Visual Basic
