HIGHLIGHTS

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead complex ratemaking analyses and evaluate statistical trends for workers’ compensation
  • Supervise actuarial analysts and perform peer reviews
  • Manage data collection processes and collaborate with IT on submission/analysis tools
  • Prepare materials for rate filings, committees, and regulatory correspondence
  • Hybrid role — ~40% onsite in San Francisco, CA

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Workers' compensation actuarial experience
  • Ratemaking and classification experience for rate filings
  • Experience with actuarial data collection and submission processes
  • Preparing actuarial materials for regulators and committees

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Five years of actuarial analyst experience in P&C, rating organizations, consulting, or state insurance departments
  • Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) or at least six CAS exams
  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, economics, or similar technical field
  • Strong programming experience in VBA, SQL, R, or Python
  • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship and reside in California
