Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Lead Actuarial Analyst role at SageSure, a leading MGA focused on catastrophe-exposed property insurance. You will lead pricing and analytics work, building and monitoring predictive models, evaluating rate adequacy, and driving rate indications and pricing studies. This role is hands-on and impact-oriented, working within a cross-functional team including Product Development, Underwriting, Cat Modeling, Data and Risk Management. Based in Fairfield, California, you will support profitable growth through data-driven insights and technical leadership.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead pricing studies, rate indications, and rate adequacy analysis for US property lines
Build, validate, and monitor predictive models (GLMs/GBMs) for risk segmentation
Analyze retention, conversion, and price elasticity for renewal strategy
Work within cross-functional team (Underwriting, Product, Cat, Data, Risk)
Ideal for 4+ years P&C experience with 5 CAS exams and strong communication skills

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

P&C pricing with ratemaking
Predictive modeling (GLMs/GBMs)
Personal lines experience preferred

KEY REQUIREMENTS

4+ years of P&C pricing experience
Demonstrated knowledge of ratemaking and rate adequacy techniques
Strong programming and data skills; proficiency in SQL required
SAS, Python, or R experience preferred
5+ exams passed to CAS (highly preferred)
