Job Summary

This Position Is Responsible For Planning, Development, Analysis And Implementation Of Procedures And/Or Processes To Design A Sequence Of Steps For Processing Data By A Computer. The Incumbent Will Apply Knowledge Of Programming Techniques And Computer Systems To Evaluate Requests For New Or Modified Programs, Systems Or Databases To Determine Feasibility, Resource Requirements, Compatibility With Current Systems, And Computer Capabilities. Locating And Correcting Program Errors, Testing, Enhancing, Maintaining And Documenting The Coded Instructions For A Variety Of Programs And Systems; Planning Or Directing The Modification Of Programs To Process Data And Solve Data, Database, System Or Report Problems. Consulting With Managerial And Systems Analysis Personnel To Clarify Program Intent, Identify Problems, Suggest Changes, And Determine Extent Of Programming And Coding Required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Business Administration or related field OR 4 years minimum related experience in lieu of a degree.
* 6 years information technology experience working on technology systems.
* 6 years experience in a job requiring analysis with healthcare information data analysis.
* 6 years experience with SQL, Access, APL or other relational database systems tools.
* 6 years experience in system development and programming.
* Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
* Planning and organizational skills.
* Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
* PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes.
