JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead pricing and rating for ACA Individual and Small Group lines
- Support annual Medicare bid submissions and group retiree pricing
- Perform capitation rate impact and encounter data analyses for QUEST
- Develop trend forecasts and monthly emerging experience monitoring
- Configure and test rate tables and filing documents in pricing systems
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- ACA Individual and Small Group pricing and rating
- Medicare bid development and pricing soundness checks
- Capitation rate impact analysis and encounter data review
- Configuring and testing rate tables and rating factors
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Passed three actuarial exams
- 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Working knowledge of actuarial and underwriting concepts
