Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior data engineering lead supporting Actuarial IT’s modernization and valuation reporting transformation. You’ll design AI-enabled data architectures, build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on Azure Databricks, and enable analytics and actuarial modeling. Hybrid role based in Cary, US, requiring a minimum of three days in office each week.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Hands-on work with Azure Databricks, Unity Catalog, SQL, and Python

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Enterprise-scale data engineering and architecture

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS or related field (or equivalent experience)
8+ years of enterprise data engineering and architecture experience
Experience with Azure Databricks and Apache Spark
Proficiency in SQL and Python for data pipelines and modeling
Able to work hybrid — minimum 3 days/week in office
