Senior life & annuities ALM leader based in Charlotte, NC (hybrid) or remote. You will lead liability modelling and cash flow testing for the general account, combine asset and liability cash flows, own ALM models and metrics, and advise the ALM working group. Role reports to the Head of Liability Management and includes people leadership.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead general account liability modelling and annual cash flow testing
- Own and maintain ALM models and management metrics for the general account
- Provide ALM expertise to the ALM working group and senior stakeholders
- Manage a team (3 direct reports) within a 15-person department
- Flexible work model: hybrid in Charlotte, NC or remote option
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- liability modelling for ALM
- cash flow testing and projections
- asset-liability modelling and ALM metrics
- annuity and life product mechanics
- experience with Prophet/Pathwise modelling tools
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FSA designation required
- 10+ years insurance/actuarial/ALM experience
- At least 3 years in a leadership role managing actuarial staff
- Hands-on experience with cash flow testing and ALM methodologies
- Experience with Prophet, Pathwise, or similar actuarial modelling tools
