Closer to client advisory than a modelling-heavy IC role—the work spans changing engagements and solution development rather than one owned model.

Associate-level Life actuarial consulting role in Philadelphia, advising life insurance and annuity clients on modernization, transformation, and analytical initiatives. You will work across product development, assumptions, modeling, financial reporting, and related actuarial processes, with travel averaging 50%.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of actuarial experience supporting life insurance or annuity products
  • Successful completion of 2 actuarial exams
  • Ability to travel 50% on average

Strongly preferred

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • 2+ years of experience in product development including design, pricing, filing, implementation across one or more distribution channels
  • 2+ years of experience developing experience studies for life actuarial assumptions (lapse, mortality, expense)
  • 2+ years of experience in assumption setting for pricing, forecasting, financial reporting, or embedded value applications
  • 2+ years of experience building actuarial projection models for pricing, financial planning, ALM, or financial reporting
  • 2+ years of experience in financial reporting using statutory, US GAAP, IFRS, or tax accounting methodologies
  • 1+ years of experience supporting mergers and acquisitions including purchase accounting
