JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead L&H research projects on mortality and morbidity across global populations
- Develop forecasting and predictive models with statistical rigour
- Translate complex data into reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers and build academic/research partnerships
- Hybrid role — expected in Armonk, NY office three days per week
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Life and health research and forecasting
- Mortality and morbidity analysis
- Statistical analysis and data modelling for life/health outcomes
- Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified actuary with at least 5 years' L&H insurance experience
- Minimum 5 years in life and health research or mortality analysis
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative or health field
- Strong programming skills in R or Python for data analysis
- Experience analysing structured and unstructured datasets
