Senior Health actuarial consulting role focused on pharmacy economics and advanced risk modeling in Tampa, FL (flexible/hybrid). You will lead development of models for drug pricing, advise health plans/PBMs/life sciences clients, and present results to C-suite stakeholders. Requires an FSA and 8+ years of health actuarial experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead pharmacy economic modeling for drug pricing and formulary impact
- Advise health plans, PBMs, and life sciences firms as a subject-matter expert
- Build complex models from scratch and analyze large claims datasets
- Advanced SAS and/or SQL proficiency required
- Flexible work arrangement: Tampa-based hybrid with remote considered
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Health actuarial experience (8+ years)
- Pharmacy benefits or PBM economics experience (4+ years)
- Knowledge of the Inflation Reduction Act and Medicare Part D impacts
- Advanced SAS and/or SQL proficiency
- Experience building complex models from scratch
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA)
- 8+ years of health actuarial experience
- At least 4 years focused on pharmacy benefits, drug pricing, or PBM economics
- Advanced SAS and/or SQL experience querying large claims datasets
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
