VP-level actuarial role (Life) focused on structuring, pricing and executing M&A and reinsurance transactions for US-originating deals. Member of the Growth Solutions Team supporting senior leadership and Bermuda/US subsidiaries. Hybrid role based in New York, NY (2–3 days/week).

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead structuring and pricing of M&A and asset-intensive reinsurance transactions
  • Assess regulatory, accounting and capital impacts across US and Bermuda jurisdictions
  • Support transaction execution with Actuarial, Finance, Investments and Operations
  • Prepare pricing memos, assumption documentation and senior management presentations
  • Hybrid role in New York, NY — 2–3 days per week in office

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • M&A and reinsurance transaction structuring and execution
  • Asset-intensive reinsurance transactions and U.S. insurance products

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • FSA or near-FSA required
  • 5–7 years of relevant actuarial / transaction experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Finance, or related
  • Knowledge of U.S. insurance products and asset-intensive reinsurance transactions
  • Strong skills with Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint
