Manager-level P&C actuarial role focused on Businessowners Policy (BOP) product development within SageSure's Commercial Actuarial team. You will lead pricing/rate adequacy, product filings, and analytics initiatives while managing a small team. The role is hybrid (minimum 3 days/week onsite) with primary location options including Marlton, NJ.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Manage BOP product development and pricing for SageSure Commercial Lines
- Lead rate adequacy (indication) reviews and renewal impact analyses
- Own end-to-end product filings and respond to insurance department objections
- Manage and develop a small team of 2–4 actuarial staff
- Hybrid role — minimum 3 days/week onsite in one of several US offices (incl. Marlton, NJ)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C insurance experience
- Commercial Property or Businessowners Policy (BOP) experience
- Pricing and rate adequacy (indication) analyses
- Product filings and regulatory responses
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ACAS designation required
- 5+ years of P&C insurance experience
- Commercial Property / BOP product experience highly preferred
- Proficiency with R and SQL plus Microsoft Office
- Manage 2–4 direct reports and lead cross-functional projects
