Manager, Actuarial (P&C) for the Businessowners Policy (BOP) Product Development unit. You will lead pricing and product development, manage filings and rate adequacy work, and supervise a small actuarial team. Role is manager-level, focused on commercial property/BOP pricing and analytics, based in Cheshire, CT (hybrid with minimum 3 days onsite).
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Manage BOP product development and pricing for commercial property
- Lead rate adequacy reviews, renewal impact analyses, and filings
- Supervise and develop a team of 2–4 actuarial analysts
- Analyze predictive model results and third-party data for segmentation
- Hybrid role — minimum 3 days/week onsite in one of several US offices
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C insurance experience
- Commercial Property or Businessowners Policy experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of P&C insurance experience
- ACAS or FCAS required
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or STEM required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, R, and SQL
- Able to manage and develop a small team (2–4 direct reports)
