Closer to a pricing and underwriting partner than a reserving role: regional market strategy and P&L influence outweigh cyclical reporting.

Manager-level Health actuarial pricing role, listed in New York and fully remote for eligible U.S. residents. You will lead pricing for ACA Exchange markets, own regional rate development and regulatory submissions, and advise P&L and product partners on market strategy.

Requirements

Must have

  • U.S. residency excluding specific states

Strongly preferred

  • College degree in a STEM field
  • Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA), or on the track to become one
  • 5+ years of quantitative analysis experience

Nice to have

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong understanding of health insurance concepts and nuances
