Manager-level P&C actuarial role supporting Specialty product modernization in Hartford, CT. You will develop and build rate plans, design post-monitoring, validate rating tables, and partner with Product, Underwriting and Rating Technology for Inland Marine, Ocean Marine and Boiler & Machinery lines. The role includes people leadership, project ownership, and involvement in enterprise strategic initiatives.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Manage rate plan development and implementation for specialty lines
- Support post-monitoring design, rating table validation and benchmarking
- Partner with Product Management, Underwriting and Rating Technology
- Lead projects and mentor assigned actuarial staff
- Work on Guidewire and modernization initiatives across specialty P&C
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Inland marine product experience
- Ocean marine product experience
- Boiler & Machinery product experience
- Actuarial and quantitative analysis experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of quantitative analysis experience
