JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Own the monthly IBNR process and ensure adequate reserves for month-end close
- Maintain SOX controls and audit-ready documentation across reserving processes
- Manage member-level financial pipelines and validate data accuracy
- Lead and mentor an actuarial/finance team (people manager)
- Remote-first US role, ideal for ASA/FSA with 5–7 years' reserving experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Reserving and IBNR calculation
- Financial reporting and SOX compliance
- Member-level financial pipeline ownership
- Managing and mentoring actuarial or finance teams
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ASA or FSA designation required
- 5–7 years of progressive actuarial experience in reserving and financial reporting
- Proven experience managing and mentoring actuarial or finance teams
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, R, SAS, or Python
- Experience with SOX controls and audit-ready documentation
