Manager-level health actuarial role on the Risk Adjustment team in Oakland, CA. You will lead a team performing risk adjustment provider analytics, develop provider-level dashboards and deep-dive analyses, and ensure compliance with CMS/ACA risk adjustment processes. The role reports to the Director of Risk Adjustment Analytics and requires managing projects and staff across provider engagement initiatives.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Manage a team delivering provider-focused risk adjustment analytics and reporting
- Oversee development and maintenance of provider dashboards and deep-dive analyses
- Ensure processes align with CMS/ACA risk adjustment regulations and trends
- Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives for provider engagement
- Hybrid role based in Oakland, CA with periodic in-office expectations

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, math, stats, CS or equivalent required

- At least 2 years working primarily with Risk Adjustment
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical subjects to non-technical audiences
- Proven project and team management skills
