JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Manage BAU actuarial modeling and reporting for the Retirement Plan product line
  • Provide first-layer review and QA for AXIS model runs and outputs
  • Lead onboarding, training, and coaching for junior actuarial staff
  • Support ad-hoc analyses and cross-line business initiatives
  • Work at The Standard in Oregon within Corporate Actuarial & Risk Management

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Hands-on GGY AXIS modeling and troubleshooting
  • Retirement Plan product knowledge
  • Individual Annuity product knowledge
  • Projection modeling and reporting (CFT, effective duration, EEV)

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 5–8 years of progressive actuarial experience
  • Hands-on GGY AXIS modeling expertise (required)
  • Business knowledge of Retirement Plans or Individual Annuities
  • Experience with projection metrics (CFT, effective duration, EEV) preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
