Support and actively participate in actuarial practice strategic initiatives such as innovation, business development, marketing, and practice management. Perform the recalculation of actuarial values to support property and casualty insurance clients as well as corporate and/or self-insured clients. Develop new and leverage current actuarial models using actuarial software or Excel. Support Directors with team management, project planning, analytics, and deliverable of advisory and audit support projects for property and casualty engagements. Identify and communicate technical matters to both clients and upper management. Develop, review, and maintain KPMG and client work papers consistent with KPMG work paper requirements. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. Provide technical oversight of the actuarial staff and serve as supervisor and mentor to senior associates, associates, and interns on engagements.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field, and 5 years of related work experience. Employer will accept a 3 or 4-year Bachelor's degree.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Property and casualty insurance products; Using property and casualty reserving methodologies including chain-ladder, Bornhuetter-Ferguson, frequency-severity, and paid-to-paid methods; U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and statutory financial reporting; Data analytics tools including one of Alteryx, SAS, R, Python, or JavaScript; and Data visualization software including either Tableau or Power BI.

Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. required up to 10%.

SALARY RANGE : $177,000 - $301,400 per year
