Manager-level P&C pricing role for travel insurance based in San Diego, CA (hybrid). You will own the pricing function, lead a team of actuarial analysts, develop rate level indications and segmentation methodology, manage filings, and partner with Product, Sales and Finance. Reports to the Chief Insurance Officer.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Manage the Pricing function for travel insurance and lead actuarial analysts
- Develop rate level indications and pricing segmentation methodology
- Own regulatory rate filings and approval processes
- Partner with Product, Sales, Finance and IT on implementations
- Hybrid role – 2-3 days in office, 2-3 days remote (San Diego, CA)

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4+ years of related experience
- 2+ years in a leadership or management position
- Experience owning pricing, rate indications, and filings
