JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead Analytics & Actuarial team covering pricing, reserving, capital and cat modelling
- Drive aggregate pricing analyses and develop rating plans for new products
- Oversee catastrophe modelling and interpret raw model output
- Manage actuarial staff, review deliverables, and mentor developing actuaries
- Work onsite in Henrico County, VA for a Richmond-headquartered E&S insurer
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C insurance experience
- Commercial insurance pricing and rating
- Reserve and reinsurance analysis across multiple lines
- Catastrophe modelling and interpretation
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years of actuarial or related P&C experience
- FCAS credential required
- Proven people management experience overseeing actuarial staff
- Strong pricing and reserving expertise across commercial lines
- Advanced Excel skills; SQL and Python/R highly valued
