JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support pricing and reserving for medical and pharmacy employee benefits
- Build and maintain actuarial models and conduct experience studies
- Perform renewal calculations, new business quotes, and stop-loss evaluations
- Remote role based out of Dublin, OH with cross-functional collaboration
- Preferred: 1+ years healthcare actuarial/underwriting experience and 2+ exams
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Underwriting or actuarial healthcare experience
- Analysis of medical and pharmacy claims experience
- Preparation of renewal calculations and new business quotes
- Stop-loss evaluation and forecasting health care reserves
- Conducting experience studies and adjusting rating assumptions
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess strong analytical skills in mathematics and statistics
- Must be able to comprehend, manipulate, and interpret statistical data
