HIGHLIGHTS

Director-level life actuarial role focused on valuation methodology for new life and annuity products. You will shape GAAP and U.S. Statutory valuation approaches, advise on regulatory reforms (VM-22, IMR, AAT), and collaborate with valuation, model development, and ALM teams. Position is based in Charlotte, NC with a 2-3 day in-office hybrid schedule.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead valuation methodology for life and annuity product launches and regulatory reforms
  • Serve as internal SME on GAAP, U.S. Statutory and Bermuda EBS valuation frameworks
  • Collaborate across valuation, model development, ALM and assumption teams
  • Participate in industry working groups and external regulatory discussions
  • Hybrid role — 2-3 days per week in office in Charlotte, NC

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • GAAP and U.S. Statutory valuation frameworks
  • valuation methodology for life and annuity products
  • capital management experience

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • FSA designation required
  • 8+ years of actuarial experience
  • Expertise in GAAP and U.S. Statutory valuation frameworks
  • Bachelor’s in Math, Statistics, Economics, or Actuarial Science required
  • Familiarity with capital management
