Senior Life actuarial modeling role in New York supporting Life and Annuity products. You’ll develop and govern MG-ALFA models for ALM, cash flow projections, valuation, capital assessment, asset adequacy testing, and STAT/GAAP/LDTI reporting. The role is onsite and offers $140,000-$150,000 per year.
Requirements
Must have
Strong expertise in MG-ALFA (mandatory)
Strongly preferred
8–10 years of actuarial modeling experience within Life Insurance and Annuities
Hands-on experience with Asset Liability Modeling (ALM)
Hands-on experience with Cash Flow Testing (CFT)
Hands-on experience with Asset Adequacy Testing (AAT)
Hands-on experience with Valuation and Projection Modeling
Hands-on experience with Scenario and Sensitivity Testing
Hands-on experience with Model Validation and Governance
Experience working with STAT
Experience working with GAAP/LDTI
Strong understanding of mortality, lapse, expense, and investment assumptions
Strong understanding of asset reinvestment strategies
Strong understanding of interest rate and economic scenario modeling
Strong understanding of life insurance and annuity products
Nice to have
Experience working with Bermuda Regulation (Preferred)
