Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior actuarial manager in a health insurer focused on large employer commercial markets (fully insured and self-insured). You will lead pricing and rating methodology refreshes, manage Stepwise implementations, monitor discount metrics and ensure parity/compliance while partnering with Sales, Underwriting and Finance. Hybrid/remote role based in Newark, NJ (employees must reside in certain regional states).

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Large employer commercial health markets experience
Pricing and rating methodology development and implementation
Experience with Stepwise rating engine
UDS discount metrics and discount measurement
Mental health parity testing and compliance

KEY REQUIREMENTS

8+ years of actuarial and/or statistics experience
Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) required
Bachelor's degree required (Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science preferred)
Expert knowledge of Excel required
Must reside in NJ, NY, PA, CT, or DE
