Work includes pricing indications, profitability reporting, reserving support, and analytics across Auto, General Liability, Workers' Comp, and Property. The hybrid role (3 days in office) uses Excel and coding tools (R/SQL/Python) to automate processes and deliver insights to Underwriting and Product teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Pricing and analytics for Middle & Large Business programs (Auto, GL, WC, Property)
Support indications, planning, reserving, and profitability reporting
Use Excel and scripting (R, SQL, Python) to automate and analyse data
Hybrid role — office 3 days/week (Tuesday–Thursday) in Hartford, CT
Requires 2+ years actuarial experience and 1+ actuarial exam passed

Actuarial pricing and reserving
Profitability analysis and reporting
Program or specialty lines experience (Auto, GL, WC, Property)
Strong Excel modelling experience

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field
2+ years of actuarial experience required
1+ actuarial exams passed required
Strong Excel skills required
