P&C modeling analyst role on the Personal Pricing and Modeling team in Fairfield, OH. You'll develop and maintain multivariate pricing and underwriting models, run profitability and growth studies, and research predictive models using SAS/R/Python. Suitable for candidates with 3+ years of P&C actuarial or modeling experience and interest in ACAS/FCAS progression.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Develop and maintain multivariate pricing and underwriting models for personal lines
- Perform analytic studies of profitability, growth, and predictive model R&D
- Use SAS, R, Python and Excel to work with large insurance datasets
- Collaborate with Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Claims, and IT
- Based at corporate headquarters in Fairfield, OH (onsite)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Property and casualty actuarial or modeling experience
- Experience working with insurance data or other large datasets
- Experience with SAS, R, or Python programming
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of property and casualty actuarial or modeling experience
- Strong experience with Excel
- Proficiency with SAS, R, Python or similar statistical programming
- Experience working with insurance data or other large datasets
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (as described)
