What you can expect

Structured Credit is an investment strategy within PGIM Private Capital responsible for originating, underwriting, and managing a portfolio of private ABS / securitization investments across a broad array of asset classes. These investments are originated from a centralized origination network via agents, intermediaries, private equity, alternative credit, other lending partners, and directly from issuers. PGIM Private Capital has been originating Structured Credit transactions for several years and due to the strong / consistent asset class performance coupled with growing transaction flow are now seeking dedicated resource to facilitate growth.

The Structured Credit group is seeking an Investment Analyst to join their team and be a critical part in growing this exciting investment initiative. We are looking for an intellectually curious, self-motivated individual who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and wants to be a critical part of a fast-growing platform. As an Investment Analyst, you will work on a small deal team responsible for underwriting, portfolio monitoring and marketing. Each member makes an integral contribution to the business and works collaboratively, while gaining exposure to private Structured Credit transactions. The role will require astute credit analysis, financial modelling skillset, strong writing skills / attention to detail, and the ability to work under time pressure.  You will have direct interaction with senior management and be an important part of our team.  We provide our analysts with valuable learning and growth opportunities.  

What you will bring

  • Completed degree from an accredited bachelor’s program with coursework in finance, accounting, and/or economics
  • Strong analytical, writing, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Interest in investing

What will set you apart

  • Work experience in structured finance and asset-backed securitizations
  • Work experience in an analytical or investment-related role
  • Knowledge of debt and equity security terms and valuation methodologies
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities
  • Independent problem-solving skills
  • Participation in the Chartered Financial Analysts® (CFA) program

Salary Range Disclosure

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is $85,000 to $95,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
