You will develop and maintain predictive and risk models for commercial lines, using R/Python/SQL and advanced statistical techniques. Role is remote-eligible with preference for Columbus, OH; reports to a Risk/Actuarial leader.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Build and enhance predictive models for commercial pricing and risk
- Use R, Python, and SQL for model development and validation
- Apply ML, Monte Carlo and stochastic techniques for risk modelling
- Remote-eligible role; preference for Columbus, Des Moines, or Scottsdale
- Consultant level role, typically requiring 5+ years' relevant experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- financial risk modeling
- actuarial modeling and model governance
- economic scenario generation and hedging models
- catastrophe and credit risk modelling
- asset-liability management
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in financial risk modeling or actuarial functions
- Strong coding skills in R, Python, or SQL
- Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field required
- Proficiency with ML, stochastic processes and Monte Carlo methods
- Experience owning complex quantitative model processes
