JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead Workers' Compensation pricing, modeling, and rate adequacy studies
  • Develop and automate data pipelines and pricing tools using SQL and R/Python
  • Partner with Underwriting, Product, Finance, and Large Commercial teams
  • Manage and mentor one direct report; present findings to senior leadership
  • Flexible location: regional US offices or considered for fully remote candidates

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Workers' compensation pricing
  • NCCI and independent bureau filings
  • Rate adequacy, trend analysis, and loss cost reviews
  • Pricing model development at class, segment, and account levels

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 8 years of actuarial experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or comparable discipline required
  • Experience developing class-, segment-, and account-level pricing models
  • Prior work with rate filings and state/NCCI regulatory environments
  • Ability to present technical findings to senior leadership
