Senior P&C pricing actuary role supporting Liberty Mutual's North America Majors accounts in Boston. You will provide account-level pricing and portfolio analysis for casualty lines (Auto, GL, Workers Comp), partner with underwriting and reserving, and communicate quarterly profitability and strategy to leadership. Open to hire at a Senior Actuarial Analyst or Actuary level depending on experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Provide account-level pricing support for casualty lines (Auto, GL, Workers Comp)
- Perform complex actuarial analyses and quarterly profitability reviews
- Partner with underwriting, reserving, pricing modeling and technology teams
- Coach and mentor junior colleagues and peer-review work products
- Based in Boston; role open at Senior Actuarial Analyst or Actuary level
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Account-level pricing for casualty lines
- Experience with Auto, General Liability and Workers Compensation
- Quarterly profitability analysis and segment monitoring
- Collaborating with reserving teams on reserve deep dives
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred)
- 3–5 years required for Senior Actuarial Analyst; 5–7 years for Actuary
- Associateship/Fellowship in CAS or SOA preferred (ACAS/FCAS/FSA)
- Advanced computing skills including Excel and SAS
- Strong data manipulation and communication skills
