Senior P&C pricing actuary supporting US Middle Market underwriting in Chicago. You will develop pricing analyses, build actuarial tools, and present insights to underwriting, product and actuarial leadership. Role requires 5–7 years experience and strong data manipulation skills (Excel, SAS). ACAS/FCAS or ASA/FSA credentials are preferred.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support US Middle Market underwriting with pricing analyses and strategy
- Produce actuarial research, complex reports, and clear presentations
- Work closely with underwriting, product, finance and actuarial teams
- Use advanced Excel and SAS for data manipulation and modelling
- Based in Chicago; 5–7 years' experience and actuarial credential preferred
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- US middle market commercial pricing support
- Pricing analyses and strategy development
- Preparing actuarial studies and complex reports
- Data extraction and manipulation using SAS and Excel
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5–7 years relevant actuarial or pricing experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)
- Advanced computing skills including MS Excel and SAS
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience supporting underwriting and product strategy
