Own profitability, deliver semiannual rate indications, segmentation enhancements, and account-level pricing. Partner with underwriting, product, claims and finance to drive profitable growth for a $400M+ book.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Own profitability for the Public Entity book and deliver semiannual rate indications
Lead LOB and segment deep dives to identify performance drivers and recommendations
Provide account-level pricing and modeling support to underwriters
Build process and data improvements and maintain raters and segmentation
Hybrid role – expected in-office two days per week if within 50 miles of an office

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Pricing and profitability analysis for a book of business
Semiannual rate indications and rater maintenance
Account-level pricing and modeling support
Segmentation enhancements and performance deep dives

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 5 years relevant actuarial experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Advanced computing skills, including MS Excel and SAS
Sound knowledge of actuarial techniques and business operations
Ability to build complex pricing and profitability models
